Isle of Lewis & Isle of Harris
Lewis and Harris are actually one land mass and although it is located at the furthest north of the Hebridean Islands it is the most populous island in Scotland. The two main entry points are Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis and Tarbert on the Isle of Harris.
Loch Roag Guest House is located in the village of Breasclete close to the Callanish Stones. Breasclete is centrally located for touring the main attractions and the wider Island. We have the three major attractions of the islands within a 10 min drive.
Callanish Standing Stones, Doune Carloway Broch and Garenin Blackhouse Village
About Lewis & Harris
Lewis & Harris, one of the nation’s favourite islands, exudes the laid back atmosphere you would expect from an island far from the hustle of mainland life. It’s a place where all the family gets to relax and enjoy a peaceful break. There’s a different beach for every day of the week and glorious open spaces to explore. The island has modern-day service and facilities as any other top destination and yet there remains a community fell through the strong cultural connection with the past – all wrapped up in the most fantastic coastal scenery.
